Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and deliver instructor-led, virtual, and technology-based training programs for Firm applications, systems, and solutions.
- Assess training needs and create clear, practical learning materials, including user guides, quick-reference resources, presentations, and other instructional content.
- Lead new-hire technology orientation and provide ongoing training for attorneys and staff at all levels of the Firm.
- Promote the effective use of Firm technology by communicating new features, best practices, system updates, and available resources.
- Provide technical assistance to computer system users through the help desk, including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and escalation when appropriate.
- Serve in the Firm's on-call support program, covering approximately three to four weekends and one holiday each year.
- Partner with team members and other Firm departments to support technology rollouts, upgrades, and change-management initiatives.
- Maintain current knowledge of Firm applications, Microsoft Office products, mobile devices, wireless equipment, and technology-based learning tools.
- Track training participation, gather feedback, and recommend improvements to training content and delivery methods.
- Other duties as assigned. Responsibilities may be revised as the needs of the Firm change.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in teaching, training, information technology, or a related field.
- Three to five years of experience in a help desk, technical training, or similar environment.
- Experience in a law firm or professional services environment is preferred.
- Excellent presentation, facilitation, listening, oral communication, and written communication skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to users with varying levels of technology experience.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and collaborate effectively as part of a team.
- Highly adaptable, service-oriented, and comfortable interacting with attorneys and staff at all levels.
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Proficiency with tablets, smartphones, and other wireless equipment.
- Familiarity with technology-based learning tools and training platforms is preferred.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- Lifts and moves items weighing up to approximately 40 pounds to and from shelving locations that range from floor to overhead heights.
- Normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature and the like.
